On July 8-10, the Hydrometeorological research istitut conducted trainings in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration as part of a project entitled “addressing human mobility issues in climate change in mountainous regions of Uzbekistan”. The purpose of the training was to increase the capacity of national partners of the project “addressing human mobility issues in climate change in mountainous regions of Uzbekistan” for groups participating in the population survey. During the training sessions, issues such as assessing population migration in climate change conditions, conducting surveys among the population were questioned about the provisions of the law, ensuring that the data is of good quality. The scientific staff of GMiTI and doctoral students took an active part in this training. At the end of the training, all participants were awarded certificates.
