Structure of department:

• Mathematical modeling of hydrological processes and the laboratory of water resources

• Laboratory of Dangerous Hydrological Events Research

The main tasks of the department:

• The activities of the department are the scientific and scientific-methodical work, and the hydrological examination of scientific and scientific-methodical works, water balance and hydrological examination, water elements, methods of hydrological calculations and forecasting;

• Execution of scientific grants and programs on the study of hydrological regulations related to climate change and hydrometeorological processes.

Methodological units of Uzgydromet provides methodological assistance in the following cases:

• Preparation of methodological recommendations on current regulations, network divisions in the field of hydrology;

• Creating and assisting GIS technology in hydrological observations Schedule responsible for the rapid use of information;

• data from hydrological posts, study hydrological posts from hydrological posts, study hydrological regime of Aral Sea rivers and analytical materials on hydraulic regime and surface water resources for Uzgydromet;

• Methodological assistance in the planning of measures to be hydromets and the measures of hydrological forecasts and prevention of hatromet units;

• Assisting Uzgydromet hydrological surveillance materials for publication;

• Facilitate the opening of the hydrological posting, coordination and coordination of work related to covering, conducted and repair;

• Organization and holding of measures to improve the skills of specialists and training of network divisions of Uzgydromet and network divisions (meetings, courses, internships).
