The main tasks of the department

• The activity of the department is depended on  scientific work in the field of the monitoring of the climate, climate change and long-term trends based on the work in cooperation with the department of Uzgidromet climate cadastre.

• Scientific and methodical guidance to the works according to creating and developing the  meteorological database of the archive fund in Uzgidromet centre ;

• Development and creation of specialized information;

• Organizing and implementing of additional works according to preparing the climate database and conducting research with Uzgidromet centre;

• Analysis of the condition of climate system, research of global climate changes;

• Evaluation the impact of climate change conditions in various sectors of the economy;

• Analysis of monitoring the climate conditions  in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

• Generalization climate database for using in the scientific research works and providing the sectors of economy  ;

• Preparing information publications on climate condition.

Fieldofapplication

Providing the public service aviation, the tourism industry, public health authorities and other organizations with the climate database and descriptions.
