As part of the visit, Japanese specialists installed Eddy covariance flux equipment and an automatic meteorological station for measuring the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere at the GMITI Aranchi experimental station. This installed equipment is the first equipment measuring the amount of greenhouse gases in atmospheric air in Uzbekistan. Within the framework of the project, it is planned to study the possibilities of using GOSAT satellite data, which measures the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmospheric air of Japan, together with the ground observation data, in the preparation of the Biennial Transparency Report.
