On October 17 of this year, as part of the future cooperation between the CWEH Uzbekistan project and the Potsdam Climate Impact Research Institute and the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, PIK researcher Oleksandra Khala presented the academic curriculum and ” “Climate change: future perspectives and actions” gave a lecture. The lecture is aimed at raising awareness about the current problem of climate change, its long-term consequences and showing the necessary measures to mitigate these effects.

The goals of the lecture were as follows:

Discuss the current state of global climate change;
Conversations about future prospects and problems;
Encourage students to actively participate in shaping sustainable practices and policies.
Also, within the framework of the lecture, the goals of the CWEH Uzbekistan project were discussed and general information was given about the structure and topics of the academic curriculum.
