On April 24-26, the Research Institute of Hydrometeorology took an active part in the International scientific-practical conference on the topic “The role of modern geo-informational cartography, remote sensing methods and technologies in geographic research” at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulug’bek. The topics of the participants of the conference are issues of using modern GAT, remote sensing and Web technologies in the field of cartography; use of GAT technologies in hydrology, meteorology and climatology; covering the use of GAT technologies in geography education and similar issues. Also at the conference there was an exhibition of modern equipment used in the field of cartography, the newly published national atlas of Uzbekistan and regional maps.

Scientists and scientific workers from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and many universities and institutes of our country participated in the conference with their articles and exchanged scientific and practical ideas!
